FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
The website for the federal poverty guidelines is:
http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty
The poverty guidelines are updated annually, usually around February 1. For 2009, 125% of the federal poverty guideline is $1,128 per month.
Washington's minimum wage will not change next year (nor will Oregon's); so it will remain $8.55/hr. ($8.40 for Oregon).

OCTOBER 2009 MEETING - DRUG TESTING!
If you want to know the latest in drug testing technology, how to get the most effective results, and why to use certain tests over others, you need to attend the next Family Law Section meeting!
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Tommy O's.
Presenting to the group will be Laramie Roberts from Advanced Diagnostics. Ms. Roberts was a social services manager in Las Vegas for 8 years and has been drug testing for 21 years. She certifies officers who do audits for the Department of Transportation (DOT) and instructs drug and alcohol awareness classes for the DOT. Advanced Diagnostics conducts urinalysis tests, hair follicle tests, breath alcohol tests, and hair tests for children to determine whether the child has been in an environment with airborne drugs such as methamphetamines.
See you on October 8!
