Federal Poverty Guidelines

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

The website for the federal poverty guidelines is:

http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty

The poverty guidelines are updated annually, usually around February 1. For 2009, 125% of the federal poverty guideline is $1,128 per month.

Washington's minimum wage will not change next year (nor will Oregon's); so it will remain $8.55/hr. ($8.40 for Oregon).
