FLS MEETING SEPTEMBER 9 2010

CCBA FLS – SEPTEMBER 9 MEETING – FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR

I’m looking forward to kicking off the 2010 - 2011 year! There’s no better way to kick of the year than with a presentation from our family law judicial officers.

SPEAKERS/TOPIC: We are lucky to have Judge Rulli; Judge Collier; and Commissioner Stahnke who will present “Special Advice from the Bench” for our members. The bench will discuss a potpourri of issues and will take questions. You can always email me confidential questions in advance.

WHAT/WHERE: The meeting will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Family Law Annex in courtroom #3. The meeting is BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch).

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Our carrier pigeon, Kathy McCann, has an announcement about No-Contact Orders and new GAL, Penny Hammond Vian has an announcement about a potential new GAL Section in Clark County.

COST TO ATTEND: The cost to attend the lunch meeting is free unless you want a CLE credit which is $5.00. Please remit your payment by Monday, September 6.

DUES: Don’t forget to pay your dues. Both CCBA and FLS dues are due. They are $135 and $25 respectively.
